I am a graduate student at Georgetown University, where I work in the Community Scholars Program. This project developed as part of the Apprenticeship in Teaching Program through Georgetown's Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, with additional development through the Capstone Project in the English MA Program. Lots of great work on teaching highlights learning as a social activity, and Georgetown has served as a great collaborative space to develop my teaching. I'm always working, even when I'm reading "just for fun," and when I'm not teaching, I'm thinking or talking about teaching. My online portfolio and my teaching blog represent my own efforts to bring transparency and collaboration to my own work, while also serving as a resource for other teachers.
